East on Ohio Turnpike at milepost 196 West of Youngstown. Free. No electricity or dump.
Ohio Power Recreation Area Campgrounds are free, but require a free lifetime permit available by writing to: Ohio Power Co, P.O. Box 328, McConnelsville, OH. 43756. Permit and area map will be mailed to you. Camping permit, fishing license, and bait are available at general store in Reinersville. Facilities include water, firewood, pit toilets. 2-week limit. Excellent fishing. Campsite "H" suitable for large rigs. Tours of wild animal habitat and "Big Muskie" available Wednesday and Saturday at 10 am and 3 pm. Reservations required. Call Susan Kidd at 614-454-1121 Ext. 3101. From I-77, take exit 25 at Caldwell, turn West on OH-78 for 10 mi. Make a sharp right turn at Ohio Power Campsite sign. Campsite "H" is at bottom of hill on left.

On SR-26 go 6 miles North of SR-7. Lane Farm Picnic Area in the NF has 3 campsites on the river. No water, pit toilets.

At junction of SR-78 and SR-83, midway between Marietta and Zanesville. Ohio Power Recreation Land has hundreds of sites. Water & firewood, 3-week limit. Free lifetime permit avail from: Ohio Power Co, PO Box 328, McConnelsville, OH. 43756 or any Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife office.
