TENTATIVE ROUTE PLAN

This is my tentative route plan as I prepare for my trip. Details will follow as I determine which attractions I'd like to see along the way. This will be an ongoing task right up to the last minute.

• Day 0 - Leave Calgary to Lethbridge after work to be a few hours down the road.
• Day 1 - Lethbridge, AB. to Billings, MT. (Brrrr... It will be cold so I will try and get as many miles behind me as possible!)
• Day 2 - Billings, MT. to Denver, CO. (Still heading down south as fast as possible!)
• Day 3 - Layover in Denver, CO. - Home Stay with Francha and Ken
• Day 4 - Denver, CO. to Albuquerque, N.M. (Maybe I can see some sights around Colorado Springs if the weather cooperates?) Canon City, Royal Gorge.
• Day 5 - Layover in Albuquerque, N.M.
• Day 6 - Albuquerque, N.M. to Flagstaff, AZ. (Petrified Forest Nat'l Park and Meteor Crater Nat'l Park)
• Day 7 - Flagstaff, AZ to Phoenix, AZ. (Grand Canyon - South Rim)
• Day 8 - Layover in Phoenix, AZ. - Home Stay with Barbara
• Day 9 - Phoenix, AZ to El Paso, TX. Chiricahua Nat'l Monument, (Steins Ghost Town and close to Lordsburg, Shakespeare Ghost Town and rockhounding in Deming, NM.)
• Day 10 - Layover in El Paso, TX.
• Day 11 - Big Bend Nat'l Park
• Day 12 - To Austin,TX.
• Day 13 - Layover in Austin, TX.
• Day 14 - Layover in Austin, TX.
• Day 15 - Layover in San Antonio, TX. - River Walk (at night too!)
• Day 16 - Layover in San Antonio, TX.
• Day 17 - San Antonio, TX to Laredo, TX.
• Day 18 - Laredo, TX to Brownsville, TX.
• Day 19 - Brownsville to Corpus Christi, TX.
• Day 20 - Corpus Christi to Galveston, TX. - Home Stay with Huy
• Day 21 - Galveston, TX to Houston, TX.
• Day 22 - Layover in Houston, TX.
• Day 23 - Houston, TX to Dallas, TX. - HomeStay with Doug and Shirley
• Day 24 - Layover in Dallas, TX. - HomeStay with Doug and Shirley
• Day 25 - Dallas, TX to Abilene, Midland and Odessa, TX.
• Day 26 - To Amarillo, TX.
• Day 27 - Amarillo, TX. to Denver, CO. Home Stay with Liz
• Day 28 - Day One Travelling to Calgary.
• Day 29 - Day Two Travelling to Calgary.
• Day 30 - Calgary, AB. - Rest Day Before Returning to Work!
• Day 31 and Beyond ... Planning for the next trip! 8o)
