Visiting Calgary is a comfortable 2 week trip to see things at a nicer pace. I had put together a modified itinerary to so they could see as much variety as possible in just one week. Sunday now and we were going to Lucianos for an awesome brunch. I still have yet to find somewhere that beats them when it comes to a brunch. Next, we would go and meet Linda's kids and then head off to the Calgary Zoo for the remainder of the day.

Our first stop of the day is to get fed up on some great food at Lucianos. Here are Theresa, Sharon, Linda, Lisa and Matt plus Tyler.
Off with my grandson Tyler to the Zoo.
First a visit with my stepdaughter and stepson on the way.
Here we are exploring the zoo.

As you leave the zoo parking lot, you go through a tunnel under the Ctrain station and pass by this Mammoth.

After going through a line up to enter the zoo gates we head off to the North American exhibits seeing elk.

More elk.

We pass by a small pond.

We took Tyler to the zoo with us. He had a season pass so we made him our leader and tour guide.

A swan.

We enter a double doored area where we find two hawks.

This is the second of two hawks.

Theresa and Sharon were amazed at the size of this owl.

Tyler checks out this cave.

Goats.

A ram horned sheep.

We then headed off to visit the Africa and rainforest exhibits and found these birds there.
