Well, no sense is sitting around here in Florida in this 100 F weather when we could head up to Canada to visit cousin Dean... Let's go to Alberta and see what there is to see and do there...

The plane landed on Friday later than planned. It was time to settled in and review the week's plans. I made several dishes of Chinese food for our company. We did a small tour and went to IKEA, a home furnishings store, the biggest one in Canada right here in Calgary, Alberta. On the way, we stopped at Fish Creek Park. A mother partridge was being a school patrol blocking the traffic on the road as her kids popped out of the side of the road to cross it. There were around 7 kids and I don't think the mother quite had the right count as the last one kind of flew across the road as the traffic started to move again. It was hilarious and of course my video camera was not with me to record the event. It is still part of the memory regardless.

Here is Theresa, my cousin from Florida. As soon as her feet hit the ground, she is off on an adventure.

And here is Sharon, Theresa's brother's wife. She is a lady of many faces as you will see throughout the website.
