We drove by this area a number of times but never noticed this statue in this little park next to the legion.

Linda poses for this picture looking down the main street in Coleman.

The old Roxy theater. It was for sale as we were looking at homes in the area.

The Coleman Hostel, side view.

The Coleman Hostel, front view.

You can see the Crowsnest mtn from this downtown side street.

Looking back east down the main street from where we came from.

Add now looking west and across the street at some of the old shops that have been fixed up. There is lots of potential in this town and the prices are pretty low compared to other places.

First shop closer up.

Second shop.

And third shop.

I found this picture of the Crowsnest mtn just above a flowering tree.

Linda figures that if she only had the money, she could really fix up this place.

A picture of it from across the street.

She still ponders the possibilities and moving the camera a bit to the left reveals the Crowsnest mtn familar landmark.

This building is across the street from it.

Another building from the past. This town is full of history.

We find this nest in one of the doorways. "Bee" careful here as it might be inhabited.

A peek down an ally.

As we circle the block, we find an old fire station across the street from a newer version.

The Crowsnest Museum. It use to be a high school.

A friendly Christian church. There is no pastor here so several of the church's elders take their turns giving a sermon. You are sure to get a welcome.

Linda welcomes you to visit this waterpark and more. Look at the size of those trees!

The waterpark fountains are not on yet but the days are getting hotter all the time.

A creek runs through the park.

Biggest Piggy Bank in the World is right here!

Front view of the piggy.

Poke your head through one of these openings for a souvenier photo.

A footbridge over the creek.

Linda poses by the bridge.

A beach volleyball court. Bring your team and play!

An empty tennis court awaits you. Well, that was our interesting weekend exploring just one small part of the town. Time just goes by too quickly.
