It started out to be a warm day. Note the two different scales.

Time to paint the kitchen, livingroom and family room!

Linda is enjoying her work.

I caught this funny expression.

The house came with these birdhouses. This one has a wind chime also.

And Linda sure liked them a lot!

A close up. Welcome!

It sure gives the place a country atmosphere.

Another one.

This one might get relocated as we get to doing the yard.

Linda called me to tell me of the mountain changing colors. Looking out from the birdhouse we see the sun setting giving this mountain a red glow.

I quickly reframed the mountain for a second picture. And it was time to wrap up the day and relax although I ended up finishing the scrapping job of the underlay that was ornery to get off the subfloor.

We finished painting the house the first day there plus had to cut out a bursted pipe for the outside water tap. Also, my torch was old so the seal broke leaving my propane leaking out fast after it blew off half of my torch attachment. I had a second one but did not trust it and my good neighbour came over to help with his torch. Also, we used his water hose to check the house for leaks by attaching it to my outside tap as the water was to be turned on Monday morning.

Looking outside at my car parked in the front with yellow walls which made the white ceiling stand out. My neighbour really liked the color. These walls seem to change color with different lighting conditions.

Well, it finally was time to wrap up our day and head back to Calgary. We heard these birds chirping in the trees.

Who could this be?

Dean with his Dr. Who hat.
