Our visitors from Africa were staying at the house for a 5 day stretch. We headed out for the day to visit.

Having a visit as we arrived.

Linda passes the kids a bucket and tells them to bring back some Saskatoons from up on the hill where they are plentiful as well as chokecherries are in abundance.

The kids realize that one of them is missing and return back to the start of the path.

Now everyone is ready for the ascent.

Group shot.

The kids stop at the bushes to check out some fruit bearing branches to see if anything is ripe yet.

All green as you can see and our fantastic 4 head on up the path further.

Now into the treeline, the kids stop to check out more branches of fruit, but still none ripe as yet.

As we depart from the treed area of the path, the crew pose for a picture.

And onward and upward they go.

Graham ran up and perched himself on this rock to watch the rest of us climb the path.

Kailen finds a pretty blue wildflower.

Graham and Naomi on the rocks.

Our small group pose for another photo. This is the first time now that I actually travelled to the very hilltop to see the absolute view that this hill offered in my own backyard as well.

Here is Graham perched on his rock still.
