Calgary To Boston, MA and Nova Scotia June, 1999

The amazing part of touring Nova Scotia was that there was a lack of tourists. The pullouts along the highway were abandoned, no one around and yet so much to see and discover.

Meteghan, Nova Scotia. Fishing boats.

Meteghan, Nova Scotia. More fishing boats at the docks. Look at that cute yellow one sandwiched in between the BIG boys!

A little north of Meteghan, Nova Scotia. Chez Christophe Restaraunt is a hit with the locals. Christophe runs it out of his house which is converted into a restaraunt. He works long hours 7 days a week with no vacations. He had several dishes of the day on his whiteboard and could change the menu to whatever he decided to cook. An interesting idea since you could never get tired of the menu.

Outside of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. This is the famous blue rock! I added a youtube video of this historic town.

Peggy's Cove near Halifax. Another youtube video to show you this area.

Downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia. Now what are the odds of running into someone from your own city in a place where you have never been? Yes, it happened to me there on the wharf. I ran into a fellow that I knew from home. "Small world isn't it, Phil?" I said.

Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Watching the "Cat" go out to sea. It wasn't my turn to ride it this day.

Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. On board the "Cat"! Time to leave Nova Scotia for Bar Harbour, Maine and to get ready for the journey back to Alberta, Canada coming back across the U.S. Adding two interesting videos of a trip to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
