This is my tentative route plan as I prepare for our trip. Details will follow as I determine which attractions I'd like to see along the way. This will be an ongoing task right up to the last minute. It will give you an idea of what should be able to be accomplished in the vacation time that I do have.

• Day 1 - Calgary to Waterton Nat Park, Glacier Nat Park
• Day 2 - Glacier Nat Park to Yellowstone Nat. Park (west entrance) via hwy 287 from Helena, MT.
• Day 3 - Yellowstone Nat Park tour.
• Day 4 - Grand Teton Nat Park
• Day 5 - Idaho, See Bill and Pat?, City of Rocks, Craters of the moon, Massacre Rock, Idaho Falls, Snake River, Rexburg to Twin Falls
• Day 6 - Lake Powell, Natural Bridge via Moab hwy 163.
• Day 7 - Grand Canyon, North Rim. hwy 98 89 67 to Page, AZ.
• Day 8 - L. Powell, Bryce Canyon, Zion Nat Park.
• Day 9 - to Las Vegas
• Day 10 - Las Vegas Layover
• Day 11 - Las Vegas, Kingman, AZ. Baker,CA Barstow,CA Bakersfield or try and loop through Death Valley.
• Day 12 - King's Canyon, CA. Fresno, Yosemite
• Day 13 - Reno, Carson City, Lake Tahoe, hwy 70 to circle Lake Tahoe and off to Sacramento
• Day 14 - Catch up day incase I fall behind schedule
• Day 15 - Lassen Volcano, Lava Beds, Oregon, Klamath Falls
• Day 16 - Crater Lakes, Ore.
• Day 17 - Portland, Ore Homestay?
• Day 18 - Portland, Ore Homestay?
• Day 19 - Portland, Ore Homestay
• Day 20 - Portland, Ore Homestay
• Day 21 - Portland, Ore to Mt. Rainier Nat Park, Washington
• Day 22 - Mt. Rainier Nat Park, Wash. to Seattle, Washington
• Day 23 - Seattle, Washington, North Cascades Nat Park Vernon, BC, - Homestay
• Day 24 - Vernon, BC Layover Kettle Valley Railroad, Chinese ovens - Homestay
• Day 25 - Vernon, BC to Calgary 7hr drive
• Day 26 - Back to the salt mines.... work! Get the film developed etc...and Beyond ... Planning for the next trip! 8o) I might have to take some time out and do a lot of work on the house. Maybe just entertain some other travellers visiting Calgary?
