HANKSVILLE, UT. TO KANAB, UT.

The mileage on the odometer read 15,826 kms. This would be one day full of many scenic sights.

Very interesting hwy to Capitol Reef National Park. Hwy 29 that is.

Behunin Cabin. A family of 10 lived here a long time ago.

On Hwy 12 South, you go over a 9,000 ft pass.

I met the guy in the van. He was from Ontario travelling while their house was getting built. Great plan. This road had a canyon on either side of it. Amazing!


Viewpoint along the road. I could not believe seeing the two canyons. It was hard to capture even with my wide angle lens.

From the top you decend a 14% grade.


And down you go. A bit scary looking in real life. This picture just does not show the sudden drop to my right.
