Jackson, Wyoming. I woke up at 8 am. 13,946 kms and ready to add more!
I spent a little time exploring the downtown area.
I turned onto Hwy 22 West from Jackson, Wy. I took this shot of the overview as you go through a mountain pass. I sure saw many groups of motorcyclists along this highway. Further up the road, I stopped at a rest area and met April, a young gal in her twenties doing a two month roadtrip to find herself. We were headed in opposite directions. She was travelling alone in her van. She had the same thoughts that you are alone but you are not lonely travelling solo. Then off to Idaho Falls I went.
Time to cross into Idaho. Gee, there were lots of bikers out there on the highway!
And across the road, I took a picture of the Wyoming sign that I didn't see coming south.
Must be a great highway for motorcycle clubs to ride?
In Arco, the first city to get Atomic powered electricity, I found this park and this torpedo.
Craters of the Moon National Park.
This is an interesting hike up this dome. I believe "Inferno Dome" is the name of this dome.
Quite a nice view of the lay of the land from up here.
This kid playing adds some interest to this view.
Some folk exploring this smaller dome.
Here at the trailhead, I found a hike to several caves that you can explore. Bring a flashlight!
Lots of burnt out trees along the way in this national park.
Time to hit the open road.
Brown Eyed Suzies.
Perrine Bridge. Idaho Falls, Idaho.
A view from the path under the bridge. Snake River.
Sun was going down so time to call it a night!
