THE BEGINNING

After the Texas trip and the loss of 5 days with car problems, that was it. Time to purchase something new for the future road trips. The Toyota Corolla is a great rated car. Great gas mileage, although the comfort level for a big guy like me is lacking, i went for the mileage. I added a few extra dressings to make this car look a little more sporty as it comes in only 4dr models. And then came the big day to pick it up!

The new baby has arrived! I call my car "Ulysses" since it would be taken on many an adventure!

It was time to get a new roadtripping vehicle! My old 84' Nissan Sentra had bit the dust and went to the car graveyard. It served me well for the time that I had it.

It is a 2002 Toyota Corolla. Toyota was recommended to me as the best bet for the money.

November, 2009 Update as i redo this webpage. I still have the car. Not sure just how long for now. It is harder to get in and out of. It might just make for a good "toad" car for a motorhome.
