Grassi Lakes. This is your reward for making it up to the top!

Grassi Lakes.

There are usually climbers here scaling the rock walls.

Beyond the last lake you will find many climbers.

Just before the climbing wall, you will find this small waterfall.

A rock with a plaque of Mr. Grassi who found this area.

Nick and Cecilia pose for a picture. They started out after us from the trail head but never caught up til we were at the top. I wasn't sure just which trail they took. Turned out they did the same more difficult one on the way up.

Maggie climbs a mountain...

...and brings Tyler with her!

Another view of the lake.

A different composition.

See how clear that water is as well. Then we headed down the easy trail which was really a fire road. We were off to take a drive up through the pass to get a good overview picture.

Overlooking Canmore and Grassi Lakes from above on the Smith Dorrien highway. Boy, the road was dusty here with all the traffic. You can see the pipe that brings water down from Spray Lakes above. There is a hydro plant below. Got the picture and then we headed down into Canmore to look around and then off to the resort to wind down the day!
