Here is the gang at the trailhead. My friend Nick and his companion Cecilia came out for a day trip. My daughter grandson and Rob stayed overnight and were heading back to Calgary after today's events. As you pass the trail head, you come to a fork in the trail. An easy trail and a more difficult trail are your choices. Take the more difficult one as that one gives you all of the views.

A wild Alberta Rose, the provincial flower.

More Alberta roses.

Maggie poses beside a crooked tree. This trail would prove to be the toughest one for her to negotiate.

As you make you way up the trail, you will get some nice openings in the trees to see just where you are.

Amazing views to see on the way up.

Then you arrive at the waterfall. Here are Lisa, Rob and Tyler.

Maggie poses for a picture. Little did she realize at that moment that the trail would get really rough. You take steps up and over the waterfall to get to where the Grassi lakes are.

Another spectacular view looking across the Bow Valley Corridor.

We sit a spell here and enjoy the view along with a rest break.

Lisa crosses the bridge at the top of the waterfall.

Maggie crosses the bridge at the top of the waterfall glad to have made it through that rough stretch.
