Day 2A, Sunday, June 29, 2003 - Minnewanka Loop and Johnson Canyon


Lake Minnewanka. We started out and did the L. Minnewanka loop tour in search of wildlife. We did get to see a small black bear on the way to this lake.


Taking a closer look at that mountain, you can see that conditions are very dry around here.

We found a big horn sheep on the way to Two Jack Lake.

After the Lake Minnewanka Loop, we headed off down hwy 1A to Johnson Canyon. This is the trail head to Johnson Canyon Falls.


Er a Maggie, there is a bear behind you about to massage your back!


I grunted and groaned and bent this tree a little bit.


It was a tough job so Judi lended a hand.


Dean does a little mountain climbing.
