Well, the grass is freshly cut, the car is washed and the house is reasonably tidy, so let's go and pick up cousin Maggie at the airport. This was her second attempt on flying to Calgary as she was stuck in gridlock traffic on the way to the airport on her first try and missed her plane.
And here is Maggie finally.

We decided that with a 3pm check in time at the resort that we would go to Elbow Falls for a picnic on the way. Judi around the corner had asked me if she could come up for a day trip. I said why not use the 3rd bedroom and stay a night or two. Here we are along the Elbow River just before the falls. It was so busy there that all the picnic tables were taken so we just found some rocks to sit on and have our lunch.
Here are Maggie and Judi just a gabbing away.

I leaned over the railing to capture these flowers along with the falls.
I tried to talk Maggie into climbing onto the rocks over the falls but that was a futile attempt. I did get this picture of a brave soul.
The river is mostly very shallow. I once was here watching jumpers and found this video of a couple of daredevils jumping.
Maggie took a really good photo of me.

Arrived at the Banff Gate Mountain Resort.
We checked into the resort and just settled in. It was a warm enough night to sit out on the deck and visit.
I set the self timer on the deck railing and was able to get in the picture.
