51,685 kms. Touring down hwy 52N on a very quiet day. I saw nice murals in Portsmouth, Oh. In Aberdeen that suspension bridge was closed for repairs. Ripley was a historic city. I stopped at the International Friendship Park in Cincinnatti, Ohio. I will have to return to Cincinatti and spend more time there. Then on into Kentucky taking I-75S. In Lexington, I took hwy 60W, hwy 68 to 4 and back to hwy 60 as there was a missing sign and I missed my turn. I saw a castle by hwy 1967 and then went onto the Bluegrass Parkway. I then took I-65S to hwy 70W to Mammoth Cave National Park. Then took hwy 70E to I-65N and encountered heavy rain. In Louiville, KY I took the I-64W. I saw a Dean's Food truck. And along I-64W, I saw some big black snakes in Indiana plus some turtles. Just before Mile Marker 30, there were some WWII planes mounted on poles in a minature scale. I made it to the outskirts of St. Louis, MO and overnighted in a 24hr. McD's lot. I could see the St. Louis Arch and did not want to proceed further and I was super tired by now with this full day of driving.
I liked the design of this bridge. Reminded me of the Sky Bridge in Vancouver, B.C. for the Sky Train.
In Aberdeen, this suspension bridge suspended all traffic as it was closed for repairs. Pardon the pun! :)
I crossed over into Kentucky and looking back into Cincinnatti.
A very old bridge joins Kentucky to Cincinnatti, Ohio.
I had to take this picture fast or get run over by that bus approaching!
Thoroughbred Park.
A scene along the I-65.
On the way to Mammoth Cave National Park, I past this fella.
Mammoth Cave National Park.
Is this a turkey buzzard or a wild turkey?
In Sonora, Ky I gassed up and found this Amish wagon trying to get across the busy road.
Crossing the Indiana state line.
And now into Illinois.
