TREK TO FLORIDA - DAY 30A - Sunday, May 11, 2003

KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA TO SAVANNA, GEORGIA

Well, with sadness, the time had come to say goodbye to Kissimmee, Florida. Leaving at 7 am with 47,166 kms on the car. Headed up hwy 192E to hwy 441N to Ocala, Florida then on hwy 40E to Silver Springs, Florida. I visited Silver Springs, Florida for a stopover. Then continued on hwy 40E to hwy 17N to Jacksonville, Florida and took the I-95 to the Georgia border. I found the cheapest gas at $1.19 of my entire trip. Then off to Savanna to find a Walmart stop for the night.

Off to see Silver Springs. I have not been back here since 1977 so I wonder what changes there are.

Silver Springs, Florida.

Let's take a ride on these glass bottom boats.

The water is so clear here.

Another glass bottom boat passing.

This is one twisted tree!

Giraffes.

A baby gator.

The host lifts up a giant turtle so you can see the underneath.

The host pulls a unwilling snake out of a bag. See the mouth open on that snake. It had tried to nip him!

Anyone wanting to play skipping rope with this?

An Albino Python.

A big frog!

Putting a BiG BuG in his mouth! Ugh!!!!!!!!
