KENNEDY SPACE CENTER

Let's take a trip to the Kennedy Space Center! I have not been here since 1977. Long overdue to see what they have going nowadays! I took hwy 192E to hwy SR532, saw hardly any traffic and one dead snake roadkill. Then onto hwy 520E to hwy 1N. Then hwy 405E to the Kennedy Space Center. There were warning signs telling you that the ditches were infested with poisonous snakes. Returning, I took hwy 3S to hwy 520W and hwy 532. Saw several big turtles. And then took hwy 192W back to my motel.

Coco, Florida.

Arriving at the Kennedy Space Center.

I took the bus tour right off the hop! Allow yourself a full day to see this place. There is a full day's worth of sights to see here.

I climbed the tower for this view.

Also got this view looking the other way.

This is where they assemble the rockets. Back in 1977, you were able see inside. The whole wall has doors that open up to allow them to transport the rocket to the launch pad.

Mission control.

Look at the size of this.

Bet that you would get quite the blast of heat!

This spacecraft is what landed on the moon.

A lunar buggy.

Spacecraft.

I got to touch a moon rock right here! That was cool!

A space shuttle and yes, you could walk inside! Awesome!

The cargo bay of the space shuttle.

Another spacecraft.

A peek inside at the controls.

Look at all the rockets.

See how long this rocket is on its' side.

A moon crawler. See the lunar arm?
