TREK TO FLORIDA - DAY 10

TREK TO FLORIDA - DAY 10 - Monday, April 21, 2003

JACKSON, TENNESSEE TO BURNSVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA

41,511 kms racked up on the odometer. Well, today was a day for a shower and some laundry. Lots of multi colored flowers in the ditch around Jackson, Tennessee. Wonder if a flower seed truck overturned along here... lol I-40E also nicknamed "Music highway". Past Loretta Lynn's Dude Ranch. At Newport, Tennessee I took Hwy 25S to Hwy 70E. Hot Springs seemed to be quite a nice town with flowers in bloom. I ended up in Burnsville, North Carolina. Had a brief parking lot visit with an internet friend and was directed to her friend's motel which I decided to stay the night here before heading out the next morning. I treated myself to a motel room every now and then since part of this trip was actually a vacation week.

Nashville, Tennesse and my drive by touring.

One last look and then gonzo!

A view of the highway travelled through Tennessee.

Now there is some pretty nice country to be seen in this neck of the woods...
