COAST TO COAST ROAD TRIP ACROSS CANADA - DAY 7

COAST TO COAST ROAD TRIP ACROSS CANADA - DAY 7

May 27, 2004 - PARKSVILLE, B.C. TO TOFINO AND RETURN

Using Parksville, B.C. as our home base, we take a drive up to Tofino, B.C. and return to Parksville seeing the sights across the island.

We stop at a park along the way and find this tree knob.

Ucluelet sign.

A cheap school patrol in Ucluelet, B.C.

Wild Pacific Trail. Wish that we had more time to explore this place further.

A lighthouse along the trail.

The scenic trail.

A view out to sea.

A view from the trail.

Along the trail.

A petrafied tree.

A walk down the trail.

Another view point of many.

Another view of the lighthouse from down the trail.

A tree bending along the trail.

Managed to get a picture of this deer in Ucluelet before he ran off.

We took a drive to the other side of the bay and found this shipwrecked boat.

Arrived now in Tofino, B.C. I was not impressed as I thought that I would be here from what I have heard in the past from other travellers.

Here is a short photo of a very long beach on the island. It was time to head back to camp.

We stopped in Parksville, B.C. to play a round of mini golf on this interesting course.

Linda poses for a photo. I managed to get a few hole in ones but never got it on the movie camera... Darn!

This was quite the course as you can see.

And that was the adventure of the day. Time to call it a night once more as the days of the vacation start to dwindle away one by one already.
