We set out to do the main attractions for the day's activities seeing as much as we could in one day.
St. Joseph, a famous old church with many steps leading up to it.
We took a drive up Mont Royal for this view of Montreal.
Using the telephoto for a picture to the right.
Looking now to the left including the stadium in Montreal.
We had a great Chinese buffet lunch on Montagne Ave. and walked over to Old Montreal. Here is a picture of an old building with a new one behind it.
A statue in front of a tall building.
A street in old Montreal.
A historic old fire station.
Looking at a fountain on the edge of old Montreal. There were people washing their hair to the left so I did not get them in the photo.
Another one of the many old streets in old Montreal.
My friend Nick had told us to take a horse drawn buggy ride when we were in old Montreal.
Our driver took a photo of us on the buggy.
A statue.
A gargoyle.
In the east side of old Montreal.
Many interesting old buildings abound here.
Look at the detail in the stone.
Walking up to this building. We had taken the 30 min buggy ride and decided to walk the other side of Old Montreal on our own.
Three flags, a statue and a light fixture.
A fountain beside the old building. There was a car racing do going on in the area.
Linda takes a few mins to relax by the fountain.
